Bob's was one of the first Pontiac parts suppliers. Anyone know what happened to this company. I believe they were based in New York. I've had this can for over 30 years - frightening thought.

check cam for straightness first. Not uncommon for cams to be bent. Doesn't take much for the cam to bind.

Do not use lock-washers on any critical clamping application. Like flywheel to crank. Those things do more harm than good. The factory didn't use them for a reason.
