You can get the bolt and clamp from PY and Ames...

You can get the bolt and clamp from PY and Ames just cut 1/4 inch off. I use ARP bolts with the factory clamp.I have never used washers instead of the clamp but i guess you could.

With factory intake use 5/16-18-3-1/2 long with the factory clamp. If using edel intake use 3-1/4 long eith the factory clamp.

If you are asking about the AS CAST d ports non ported then i got 182 cc's on the intake port and 150 cc's on the exhaust port on my Kauffman as cast d ports. These heads were checked out of the box...

Balancer bolt...

The bolt is 5/8-18 x 1-5/8 and torqued to 160 ft lbs. If you want use the ARP bolt # 190-2501. If you use the ARP bolt torque it to 180 ft lbs as it is much stronger than the grade 8 factory bolt.

Has anyone run a tri power with the front and rear carb pumps disconnected? If so did the engine stumble or go? My thinking they put the pumps on the front and rear carbs for the original vacuum...

You are correct on the valley pan deal, done it several times. Also the pcv in the rear is correct for the 1966 engine you can also use the front pcv location with no problems.
