I love my 455, plenty of power......but the...

I love my 455, plenty of power......but the thought of a turbo and 20 mpg's is very tempting.
I've beat 1 liter bikes with this motor, it moves........ but a turbo LS on pump gas sounds fun.

My friend builds all the turbo LS cars in town here. I'm set on a motor guy and tuner. I just wanted to see who on here is doing it and what did they go through.

Also, I tuned my 455 with a carb on a laptop with O2 sensors. My sh!t is dialed and I don't get very good mileage.

This month I saw a 69 chevelle with a turbo LS motor that runs low 9's, It was badass. I'm impressed with the ls. He wasn't limited.

GM has made a great engine, the LS. Reliable and able to make power. The new z06 with LS7 gets 26 mpg and 500 hp. Wow.

I believe a 455 can go as long as an ls. But, good mileage and less maintenance is the deciding factor for a road car. Ls all the way with a six speed. Fill it up with gas and drive it. Trust me dude.

You're doing a car for the road, do an ls. A c5 z06 gets 29mpg highway. That would be a great maintenance free car that's a driver.

That is a 325/50/15. I would have to trim to fit a 315. I bought the 315 first but didn't have room.
