I sealed mine to the valve covers and used a light film of wheel bearing grease on the head side of the gasket…. Never leaked.

Along with glueing the rubber gasket to the cover, I also put a light film of wheel bearing grease on the gasket side that mates to the head. After fighting valve cover leaks for years this method...

I'm running 245/60/15 on the front with no issues.
