I'm sure there's plenty of sludge. The heads are definitely coming off I just don't know how I should proceed from there other than wire wheeling all the parts.

I only have diagrams back to '70, but if yours is the same then if the idiot lights illuminate (or gauges energize) in the run position then the switch should be fine.

I bought headlights from AutoZone. The prongs aren't long enough to plug them in, so I had to cut the surround thingy off the plug. I normally wouldn't have, but one was already cut.
