Pontiac used no seal on the exhaust side and a black rubber seal on the intake - so if you see a seal on the exhaust guide then the guides have been cut for positive seals. In conjunction with the...

I'm old enough to remember that we put any type of gasket on the valve covers and it seemed like they would seal for the life of the engine. Now I spend a fortune on them and no matter what type or...

That looks exactly like my original (and the current replacement) master cylinder, and what was original equipment on my '67 GTO with front disk brakes. I'm the original owner so I can vouch for...

While there were distinct stock steel rims for 67 & 68 A-bodies that were supplied with disk brakes, I always thought that all Rally II's were made to clear the disk brakes. Maybe not if yours don't...

Removed the engine one time without the trans on our '68 Firebird, and never did after that. GTO has about 2-1/2" from bolt head to firewall while the Firebird had a little over an inch. I know it...

Always best to go with the weight of oil that your engine builder suggests. If he has set clearances for the 20w-50, then that is what you should run. The indicator is the pressures you observe on...

Agree. Unless the piston is down far enough to fall into the detonation zone said to start about .050" (and probably closer to .055") including gasket, there won't be any difference between a total...

So what you are saying is that the P119VX support kit will fit the 65 A-body the same as it fits the 66-67? If so, the Ames catalog isn't correct in limiting the fit to only 66-67?
