The factory rear strap anchors in the trunk floor get covered by the larger GP tank (the tank dimples fit right over the anchors). When I pulled the GP tank, I also took the longer GP straps.

Notice both tanks have the three vents for EES.

Not sure if the MPC is correct or not for commonality 69-70, but I'm looking specifically for a 70 GP with the three vent for EES. It will be a bigger 26 gallon tank for sure as I have one in my 71...

Thanks for the response, but actually there is a difference. The A body tanks will bolt in, but they don't hold the same capacity as original GP tanks. I'm looking for a factory GP tank...

I don't think the 17's would improve the look at all. Performance maybe, but not the look. Your's looks perfect to me as is.
