In the body shop manual it states, start one end...

In the body shop manual it states, start one end of weatherstrip at rear center of gutter. If that is what Pontiac intended then it should be correct to have seam centered.

As far as the two rod sizes, that is from power booster to master depending on application. Clevis rods are all the same size but pinned in different locations on brake pedal arm depending on manual...

Ed, 64 and 65 masters are the same for manual brakes. I have looked at 5 plungers I have and they all have about a 1/4 inch dimple. If yours is deeper then that, at NAPA ask for united #432 master...

Cowl fasteners could be hex head dark or phillip...

Cowl fasteners could be hex head dark or phillip head zinc depending on where the car was built. Freemont and Balt were hex, Pontiac, Phillips and even though I own a KC car I,m not sure.

If your talking about the thin sponge seal, that would be the second type that gets installed on the interior side of the firewall.
