I recently converted the front brakes on my 68 Firebird to disc and rebuilt the rear drums and put new stainless steel brake lines in as well. I ordered all my stuff through PST and even got the lines through them, which came pre-bent. Well the dang thing didnt come with any instructions so when I put the brake line on the went from the front to the rear it came up short about 3-4 inches from connecting with the bracket on top of the rear differential. But what may solve the problem is that I did not install the proportioning valve that came with the kit. I do have the old stock distrobution block on their but since the kit didnt come with any pictures, for dummies like me, I didnt know how it went on there. If I knew or could actually see what the system looks like on someone elses car it would greatly help. Does anyone have a pic or know where there is a example of what a distrobution box with a proportioning valve setup look like. Maybe one of you guys have done the same conversion and know how it goes together...anyones help would be greatly appreciated.
