Hi! First post here! I just cant decide what cam to use!
Looking for maximum streetable HP with my spring to be setup:

455" 030 overbore
Stock crank reground and checked
Scat H-beam 6.625" bushed 2.250" rods
Clevite bearings ~.0025 gap
Melling hi-volume oil pump
TRW L2359F-30 pistons
stock piston rings
Edelbrock SP2P (early performer) intake, Torker II or Edelbrock performer RPM
Comp magnum roller tip rockers 1.52 or 1.65
Rhoads lifters?
Quadrajet 800
True roller timing gear
Cam will be graded to specs.
6X-4 or 7K3 heads, mildly ported and port matched. Hopefully outflowing stock heads? No problem milling to a desired compression.
Valves depending on cam, should fit original installed height, Want to spend minimal cash on the heads, since aluminum heads are coming in 2006/2007

Dacco converter approx 2000 stall? (very mild)
TH350 prepped to take the punishment
3.42 rear gears
M/T ET street 26/10.5-15

Current setup is totally stock -76 455" except
030 bore
Edelbrock SP2P intake
TRW TP190 cam. Lift 420/443 dur 278/288 @ .006 SAE lift
6X-4 heads port matched

Pulled 302HP/553lb.ft on the rolls
Drove 13.451/100 this summer, could shave a couple of tenths, but i had 99% grip! Full throttle of the line!!
Looking to add 100-200HP since the torque never leaves a 455"! Eventually another additional 150-300HP on the button... we´ll see

Almost forgot... Engine is pulling a stock -76 Firebird
