I just installed Scott's kit on my SD-455 motor last night and everything worked out great. Scott had it machined for .007 camshaft endplay and I measured it at .0065. The kit is made up of top notch components and comes with a simple yet detailed instruction sheet. The one installation step that I did not use was the use of Lubriplate 104 to hold the bearings and races together while assembling onto the motor. I substituted Comp Cams assembly lube which has the consistency of cold honey in winter. It worked great for me. Great stuff Scott! Keep thinking of ways to make our Pontiacs better and more reliable.
