I'm in the middle of a tranny conversion on the 65 GTO conv. I need to know what slip yoke I need and what ujoint combination. I was told turbo 350 slip yoke is the same as 700r4 and I could shorten my current driveshaft and use a combination ujoint to tie it all together. Your ideas would be appriciated. current tranny is st300 if that matters. Thanks, Steve
One more thing has anyone used the bowtieoverdrives.com crossmember for the 700 conversion, its for a 65 conv. chevelle but I was told it will work. If not any confirmed re-positioning of the existing croossmember been done.And difficulty rating...Thanks again
