True,but at least they looked proportionate to the rest of the car or even had enough of a wheelwell to allow some bigger meats. The rear wheel treatment on the GM Monaro looks whimpy no matter what you put back there. It didn't look that bad in some of the renderings until I actually saw one....then it looked like a Dodge Neon or some god-awful thing. Modern is fine, but give it some attitude for cryin' out loud! 
I'll admit though, the Woodward GTO is a vast improvement, much better than stock and certainly better than the auto-rice package.
