I don't mince my words, Cletus. I say what I mean. And if you had been here before yesterday, you'd have figured that out.
Have you ever heard the phrase "you're known by the company you keep?" I suppose if I contracted a guy to restore my car, and that individual had a record of building at least one fake that people knew about, I'd expect to have people cast a suspicious eye upon me as well.
It's funny (sad) how some members of the inner circle-jerk only join and post here when they feel the need to circle the wagons to attempt to defend something. Then, they're never heard from again.
So.....who was it who blew the whistle and told you to sign up?
Dude, if I really GAF about the car, as Tom S asserts, I'd get into my car and drive the 45 minutes down to Wilmington and visit with either Ursumorso and find out who and when.
It's not that tough.
Neither is obtaining Delaware DMV records.

Nope - you don't mince words. And everybody here knows that you think this car is a fake.
And since we are known by the company we keep, it is very obvious you were not often in my fathers company. If you had been around him, you would perhaps be something of a gentleman. I don't mean for this to become a personal flame war, but you are questioning a man who was better than you can ever hope to become. I say this because you feel the need to say things about a man you admittedly never really knew.
If you truly don't GAF, why bother with all the BS online? Don't you have anything better to do? Apparently not. Perhaps you should work on a better restoration to take up some of your free time.
