I am brand new to this forum and very excited I found it. There is a plethora of great info and anecdotes. I picked up a 1962 Lemans Coupe on Sunday (V-4, automatic, 70k miles, in garage for ~25 years). The brakes are shot, therefore it will be my first project. After 3 hours of Googling to find part numbers (shoes and cylinders) and trips to the local shops, I have had no luck. It seems the information stream ends in 1964. So, I have been reading posts and am curious if anyone knows the part numbers for the original brake shoes and wheel cylinders or knows of substitute parts. After cruising the forum, I am also contemplating the switch to disc brakes.
