The Break-In & Test Drive
After everything was put back together I started the car up while still on the jack stands to run it for 15 minutesfor the intitial break-in. During that time I sat in the car and went through all the gears and also let it run each gear for a few minutes at a high idle. After that was done I dropped the car back on the ground and took it for a ride. I immediately noticed a big difference with the first gea ratio. My Super Case muncie had a 2.20 ratio and the new TKO has a 2.87.
My car has 3.73's in the rear and I didn't realise till now how much better a lower ratio in first could make. After a couple hundred miles of driving time all I can say is I LOVE IT!!!!!

I can actually drive down the highway again going 70 mph with my engine revving at about 2,000 rpm's.
Can't wait to take it to the track! I'm hoping that I'll have better 60' times which should help my overall ET as well.
