I've been emailing Bob Chumley and Tom Hand on and off for months about the transverse exhaust system.
I am more in favor of using the Dynomax crossflow muffler for my application. One of my concerns is the tail pipe with splitters. This is what is on my 79 TA as purchased new and I want to keep it. Has anyone installed the Pypes tail pipes with chrome splitters? How do they fit especially near the axle and rear tires. From what I saw of the picts above, the tail pipe is quite tight to the tires. Another inch of space would be better IMO.
