Thanks for the input. On Monday the muffler shop is completing the install of new pipes and mufflers on my GTO. I was using the weekend to research were the chrome tips should be located. It does sound like they should be turned downward and outward. I can't get my hands on a assembly manual before monday. Does anyone have a copy they could either e-mail me or fax? E-mail me at
