Get it running, drive it like hell and enjoy it! Don't let it become a "some day" project in the backyard while you wait to get enough time and/or money to make all your resto dreams come true.
Just start out first with reliable driveability and safety - working brakes, adequately tuned carb/ignition, electrical system NOT butchered, eliminate leaks & fire hazards, etc.).
I'd recommend drivetrain and mechanical before looks. You'll be surprised how some of your repairs can be so much easier when you don't have to worry about scratching that new paint job!
