As soon as I hit the gas the engine goes to about 5000 rpm. That's with a custom made converter that's supposed to stall at 3500 rpm. I see boost just about immediately.
I'd have to check to make sure but total timing at 18 psi boost is about 24 degrees.
Check my pic at the top of this page, I have my own water/alky injection system. I did not use it for this dyno run. I have used it on the street with about 650 rwhp.
I used 110 octane because it was what I could get. I was planning on more boost but that was all I could get with my wastegate control. I'm using a 10 psi pressure regulator on the back side of the wastegates.
I'd love to use that boost on 93 octane, it will take a little more experimentation.
My next dyno runs will be with more boost, I should be able to get 22 psi with my turbos.
What do the GN guys run for fuel without methanol at that boost level, and how much timing?
Thanks </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Looks great. As far as fuel and turbo's goes, talk to this guy, he lives on the NH/MA border and has had some very quick turbo/SC cars.
