BNP(Scott), does Joe have any proof,(pictures, documentation) that he really had the car in question? I know you said Don Keefe spoke to him about it, is Joe a straight shooter? or just a good bench racer? could Harold Ramsey at Union Park have acquired another one of these SD cars? actually you and Brian are wrong about these particular cars being "nothing special" back then, these special "factory" cars, like the 65 Dodge/Plymouth altered wheelbase car, swiss cheese cars, etc, were sought after by racing dealers who didn't have enough "pull" to get one of them brand new, and hobby racers who were looking for the "state of the art" cars of the time,as these low production cars were well known by hardcore racers back then, plus got ink in the car magazines! not part of the "inner circle". but all we have from your end is joe's claim of ownership.still some "mystery in the history"
