Oh sure, it's eeeeeasy to fix.
Drill a hole-cut through the floorboard top-side. (Hole-Cutter has a drill pilot) Hole cutter dia escapes me - just be sure to make it a DIA larger than the Square-nut.
Bust-up the sheetmetal cage (it's poorly spot-welded).
Lift-out the boltshank&nut.
Re-install nice greased body-hardware.
Install Cap-Plug atop the hole.
