You can clean the case to look like fresh cast aluminum. Brush on naval jelly for aluminum and let it sit for awhile. The length of time will depend on how dirty the parts are. Don't let it sit for too long, or it will turn the aluminum black. After about 30 minutes hose the parts off and clean with a good brush. You may need a second application. Once you get the parts clean enough, apply a satin clear coat or send the parts out for a clear satin powdercoat.
