JunkYard Dog, my feeling is that the Sims Performance roller bearing cam plate is superior to the bronze bushing. I agree that the bronze bushing will decrease friction between the cam gear and thrust plate, but you still have the same friction between the cam and thrust plate. If memory serves correct, the cam tends to ride forward (toward thrust plate) under acceleration and rearward (toward rear of block) on deceleration. I do not believe the bronze bushing will improve friction or wear characteristics on acceleration. The Sims Performance setup provides roller bearings on both sides of the thrust plate which will decrease friction on both accel and decel. Food for thought...
