Take 2 cars...a Cadillac and a Saturn. Both are made from steel, glass, plastic, rubber, etc. Both are built on assembly lines. Both will get you from point A to point B.
Why is the Cadillac 20 to 30 thousand dollars more than the Saturn?
Do you get the picture?
Both the KRE and the Edelbrock heads will see (and for the E-heads, have seen) a larger market than the S.C. or DCI heads will see (or have seen). The higher the number of units sold, the lower the price.
Also, like the Cadillac differs from the Saturn, so too do the design of the DCI and S.C. heads differ from KRE or E-heads.
There is your price difference.
