In order to make 431 RWHP, it would need a heads and cam change, along with the headers. We do this every day with the LS1/LS6 and Ford Mod Motors...
Back to the GTO, I guarantee you can take a STOCK 04 GTO, add a 3500 lock up converter and Drag Radials, drive it to the track and it will run mid 12's depending on the track and temps...
It's been done many times with the F body and again with the GTO...
