Jeff, I worked with a guy named Paul at liberty when I ordered the 4 speed. For strength reasons he recommended the iron case and standard 2.65 first gear, so thats what I went with. I have only put about 5 total hours of running time on the trans so far (most of it with the rearend on jackstands) so I have yet to hit it hard.
