Sun Tuned, Have you seen sneaky, hard-to-find wiring faults in the wiring connecting the body to the cap?
Frank, if you tested the dizzy (great abbreviation, that) off the car and it made sparks, it has to be the 12 V to the dizzy is bad or the rotor is not turning. Or is it possible it is not grounded? Good luck.
