I had the same problem. What I thought was a leaky seal turned out to be loose bolts on the oil sump. Carefully snug the bolts in an opposing design. Don't forget the one underneath the starter. This stopped my leak permanently. Also, avoid synthetic oils--- they'll always find a way out.
