OK , I just received a phone call from Jegs stating that the replacement plastic bushings that you got to replace the rubber grommets are now not available. I looked in the PY catalog for the KPO linkage kit, but they only list for a 67-68 four speed and that's discontinued. I also looked in all the rest of my Pontiac magazines and they do not list a 3-spd KPO linkage kit.
Peter, I was wondering if either A)you might know which KPO linkage kit in the Hurst catalog would work for my Dearborn 3-spd manual(don't know if I should look up Ford or Pontiac for that tranny), or B)would you be wiling to part with any of the rubber grommets that you already have.
I already have the rubber grommets removed from my shifter arms, but the originals are still in the tranny arms. Also, with a new linkage kit would it allow for the already smaller holes in the shifter arm holes that don't accept the Hurst Pit Pack.
