Jim,

I used the Moroso screws in my Weld Draglites by first drilling the appropiate size holes in the bare wheels and then installing the screws into the bead of the inflated slicks. The length difference you refer to may be the thickness difference between mags and steel wheels. I also use Hoosier QT Pros, with tubes for safety and stiffness. When I renew the slicks, I intend to reverse the process.
