You might be suffering a little vapor lock. You might try wrapping some insulation around the fuel line from the pump to the carb. Depending on your tuning skills, you might consider a fuel Jet/Rod change.
As you know, high ambient temperatures and high relative humidity help to raise the density altitude. In essence, Density Altitude is the altitude your car "thinks" it's at.
High temps make any given volume of air less dense. Thus, with any increase in temperature, you have fewer air molecules available to be used for combustion. So, no matter what, if the temps go up, your power goes down. Secondly, with the change in density of air per volume, you throw your fuel/air mixture all out of whack. With the air decreasing in density (acting like you're at a higher altitude -hence the term "high density altitude") and the fuel unchanged, you get a rich mixture. Ideally, with decreases in air density, you will match that with a decrease in fuel volume to keep the ideal mixture closer to ideal.
If you do not adjust the mixture, you not only lose power because of lower air density, you now take a second hit due to improper mixture. In other words, you can minimize your power loss by leaning your mixture the proper amount.
