Its between the fenders, almost completely hooked up. The Victor took alot of rework to get it to fit. Mostly around the bolt holes. Not enough clearance to get them in.
Figuring out the alternator and simple stuff like the intake took most of today. It should fire tomorrow, if all goes well.
I was told the Hooker Supercomp headers would be a pain, they were easier to install than my D port headers. They fit great, no massaging, and I have enough room to get to the filter, plus the bolts were all easily reached. Drivers side bolt #4, the one behind the center tubes caused the most trouble, a friend above and me under the car turning it a flat at a time worked good. If Dougs are easier, then they will install themselves! I am curious to know how other headers would fit.
Thanks for the positive inspiration and the compliments. Russ I get out to Dorchester once in a while. I grenaded the old 455 back in April so I havent been out since. We meet at Sams on Rivers every 1st and 3rd saturday between 5 and 7 pm. Come on out and look for all the Fbodys, I might have it out sometimes since its still street legal.
