another way to do the wiring , easier and safer IMHO, is contact a company called, Powermaster, they sell high output alternators,starters,etc, they sell a two piece wiring adaptor kit,allows you to connect your factory harness to the internal reg alternator,NO cutting or splicing! adaptor for regulator harness, adaptor for alternator plug, only cost me $15 bucks! well worth it! check the web for there site, (sorry don't know there address)
