I had to drill the lock cylinder out of my ignition switch and in doing so, I buggered the switch housing up a bit. I have a new lock cylinder coming but I'm having no luck finding a 1968 Tempest/LeMans/GTO ignition switch.
Ames says it's not reproduced by anyone yet. I found one vendor that sells a 1968 ignition switch and they show the application as being correct for various other GM 'A' body cars but under Pontiac, it only lists Firebird.
What's the story?
I've written to that vendor by the way, but I just thought I'd ask here while I wait on a response.
