Just got my car certified today. Good to 8.50 no faster. These new rules are already in effect. NHRA tech man gave me a copy of what would have to be done my car to get it to 8.49 down. Not only a funny car cage but braces to be installed under the body also. I will see if i can scan it and post it.
Inspector told me they are trying to give the heavy street cars the heave ho, or keep them from going faster than 8.50.
on a diet to go faster........
