To dragncar: I finally figured out why you're so ticked off. The Pontiac engines are gone forever and it really upsets you that GM finally designed and built an engine in 1997 that is superior in every way to anything Pontiac ever put in a car. GM finally got it right and it just eats you up inside that its better. So you have to call it a "Chevy". Well, call it whatever you like, the educated people who actually read engine specifications and dimensions know the differences. Sorry you're so frustrated and heartbroken that our GM engines are better.
