At the time I bought my headers Scott had just talked Hedman into making that header because it had the 3" collector flange and the smaller diameter pipe and would work for people who had exhaust, power steering, etc, still on their cars. I opted to go with the 1 7/8" race header with the 3 1/2" flange then just bought a set of $20 reducers to slide my mufflers onto. Both headers I believe are about $20 apart.
I chose the race header for future changes down the road so I wouldn't have to worry about exhaust issues if one was to come up. Next time I'll go custom or hope that there is something a little more accurate for the ventura application.
Goatee, I am curious on how they fit, keep us posted.
