If you have a '68-'72 GTO you're in luck, OPG sells clutch linkage kits consisting of NOS and repop parts - complete. Finding a good Muncie isn't too hard on the internet. Buy a new bellhousing, clutch, shifter and flywheel. Lots of people sell four speed pedal setups on eBay. Get the factory manual and enlist the help of a good transmission shop. Its worth it - you'll substantially increase the value of your car. If you have a pre'68 vehicle you'll have a hard parts hunt for the clutch linkage but it's not impossible. Hydraulic clutch linkages are also a possibility.
