Am not the GM brake engineer, so cannot answer you on the why GM went to larger front capacity 4 wheel disc master cylinder vs using an earlier Vette piece. Would like to know this as well.
Hopefully Dave, aka PontiacT-37, the GM brake engineer will post, & share with us some of his input.
