I haven't had the pleasure to meet you but, I did get to meet Kern a few times in the 70's. I own every copy of The High Output (sadly, it was in an issue of The High Output that I first read that the Pontiac V-8 was to be discontinued). I couldn't believe it, but it was true!. You helped motivate and to learn not to settle for second. I admired and appreciated your writing attitude and style back then not to mention its unparelled informative content. The High Output was "all meat and no BS" you know what I mean. You 2 guys were very influential/motivating to me and, I'm sure, countless others in the 70's.
