This goes back to 1980. I was a senior in high school. We all used to cruise Market St. in Riverside, Ca back then. Friday and Saturday nights, it was the place to be. Carls Jr was the hang out. As my friend Bryan and I were getting ready to go party (1 bottle of BoonesFarm Tickled Pink) with a couple of other friends atop Mt Rubidoux there was a couple of girls parked next to my 70 LeMans. After talking to them for a few minutes, they were game for joining us and hanging out. No nothing happened that night.
But we did set up a double date with the 2 of them for the next weekend. I picked up my 30 year old hottie and my buddie picked up his date. We were to meet back on top of Mt Rubidoux. Yeah you know what this is about now. My FIRST time. Back seat,older woman,Trojans,( I was so nervous I rolled it on inside out), 70 Lemans with Gabriel High Jackers and fogged up windows. Man did we give those air shocks a work out.(Probably the roughest 2 minutes they ever had
). Yeah, that gold LeMans will always have a special place in my heart.
