The 400 bird's had a sort of chin spoiler on it behind the lower valance to direct air up into the radiator.The also had filler panels between the front bumper and the radiator support under the hood to keep the air goine thru instead of around the radiator.As for the fans, you can't beat a heavy duty clutch fan and the original fan shroud.Mine always ran hot with the electric fans.Also, if your radiator is an older one it's not very efficent at cooling.I went with a new aluminum radiator, the stock fan with a new clutch, and a flow cooler water pump, temp never goes above 180.This is on an engine that is far from stock.You can do without the aluminum radiator, but at least get a newer, more modern copper/brass one.
