I have a '71 Formula 400 clone. When I bought the car 20 years ago it had '73 heads with altenater/power steering bracket alignment hole bossed into the driver side head. I have swapped the heads for '68 #62 big valve heads(211-177). Problem is, there is no bolt hole for the brackets to bolt to. The 73 system used the big WASHER/SPACER as well. Is there a manufacture for the original style bracket for the 68 heads. I did a major restoration on the car 2 years ago, and am trying to tie up the little things now. I haven't been able to decifer the Year One catalog for this item, and figured I would give you all a chance before I called their tech line. (Subject change)I have also heard that a Caddy rear end will be a direct bolt in for the 2nd gen. F-body and comes with 340 posi and disc brakes. I just can't remember if it was a 75-76, or a 76-77.
