"I'm not sure, but i'm pretty sure a stock 'new' 'GTO' would out perform a stock 'real' GTO. I'm positive it would stop in shorter distances, get better gas mileage, handle better, ride better...etc. I don't understand the 'it's not a real GTO' argument. Did GM send out a mailer to all the 'real' GTO owners saying 'here, this is the 'new' GTO, you have to like it, and you have to buy one'?"
Well DUUHHH!!!! With 40 years of additional technological developement I would hope the 'new' GTO did things a little better than a 'real' GTO did. At least you understand (and admit) that the 'new' GTO isnt a 'real' GTO. Thats progress.
