Fantom is correct, but I do feel ray has a shot, from what I have seen the car looks like it will be accepted. Mainly due to being a Pontiac AND running the number. If he can get into the high 8's consistently, even in humid weather, it shouldn't be a problem.
Just wanted to let you guys know, the new Hot Rod is out with some nice pics of the guys. As some of you know, my friend Rob won the event, and on his first page, he can be seen shaking hands with myself and a friend of mine. The one he is shaking hands with in the picture is my friend Dan, I am next to him in the black shirt and hat. A few of the guys from long Island were in the picture as well, including Jay from All Wired, who is a current member on my board, congrats to him. I am also in the next page in the pic of the winner doing his burnout. Jay from All Wired Installations placed 20 out of 50, and I can be seen with him in the picture of the car on the cruise in the 85 Monte Carlo SS (#20).Look for some pictures from the event comming soon on my site. Thanks to Matt King for the plug in that article for #20 as well . I had another car that would have been picked(69 Camaro), both cars can be seen on my website in customer's rides, but he had no rollbar, but was featured in Hot Rod in the "77 cars that would have made it but..." issue . Look back at the site as I will have some updated pictures, and an events page as well. Things are starting to get hairy with work, and moving into a bigger shop, so I'll check back as often as possible.
