Tiki, I hear what you are saying. But there is another question I have regarding the clothing. Why do the stock and super stock guys have to wear fire jackets when they race in the sportsman classes? Is it because the cars are unsafe when racing against us peons or is the NHRA just gouging the Sportsman racers because we are more plentiful? Couldn't be revenue driven--not the NHRA. The same thing goes for lap belts vs 5 point hanesses. A stocker can have a 40 year old lap belt but my 5 point has to be changed every 2 years. HMMMM as the Dude would say.
