OH, one more thing; on the post above, I am speking about all of the 1967 thru 1972 "OEM" shifters, the early(1964 thru 1966) shifters WILL accept the PIT-PACK service bushings & are designed so that you CAN replace them every couple of years or so if you need to. They come in steel, & also white Nylon, as with the 67 & up shifters, noise inside of the car can be a factor, if you want it quiet inside of your car with the windows up & the A/C on then, USE THE NYLON BUSHINGS!!! If you drag-race or if you don't care about the noise, or you don't have A/C, then you can RUN THE STEEL BUSHINGS!!! As you decide.
