Thanks for the info Shadowjack. Now I have a question for you...what kind of clutch are you running? I am running a Centerforce dual friction clutch and was wondering if the taller bearing that was in there before was causing the clutch fingers to overtravel and come into contact with the pressure plate (if that is even possible).

The reason I am looking into this is because after swapping transmissions the crank thrust got wiped out on my engine. I am just trying to figure out what happened, I have not measured to see if the bellhousing is off center, but will when I get the engine back from the machine shop.
