"What would you call a great head? 375 cfm at 28"?
425 cfm at 28"? A 500 cfm head?"

Nope. None of that matters. What good are those numbers if the port is too small? A great head would be one with enough VOLUME to feed the bigger inch engines. Forget the number on paper, aim for a head that has enough volume to feed the combination. That is what Bob means. There are none out there, yet. What is availabe is borderline for 512 inches, let alone bigger. A head that offers enough volume for the big inch engines, not just a small block chevrolet port size on big inch engines with big flow numbers on paper. The question is not what needs to be done to make a big head. I have discussed for months with Bob and Frank what needs to be done just like I did with the block before it was made, but they need to figure out how first, and if it will be good to do financially. They have the resources, and they are very intelligent business men. They are just not rushing into it.
